ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WAS A RAILWAY BRIDGE….
Rijkswaterstaat (the Dutch government agency for water management) and the building industry want to solve the problematic situation they’ve found themselves in: overregulation of calls for bids, contracts bursting at the seams, unhappy marriages, and surging costs of failure. Together, they’ve developed a new way to look at the world of building, incorporating new ideas about collaboration and repairing relations.
This new animated film will show how this new approach worked out in the mega-project of Schiphol Amsterdam Almere. This project has made quite a few headlines recently – typically, and tellingly, because things were completed ahead of schedule.
